FP Assistance is a non-profit company (a food program sponsorship with the CACFP) that helps provide financial assistance to daycare centers through the Texas Department of Agriculture. Daycare centers whose enrollment exceeds 25% low-income children are eligible to participate in the FOOD PROGRAM. MANY TIMES children in today's hectic society only get fed healthy meals during daycare hours. We monitor over 17 MILLION meals each year, and distribute over $7.4 MILLION in financial assistance to daycare centers across the state of Texas!

The "Texas Department of Agriculture" has contracted with us to help administer financial assistance to eligible centers who meet certain nutritional guidelines when feeding their children. We provide the training and consultation needed on the part of each daycare center enrolled in the food program in order for them to receive financial assistance.

We have been in business since 1995, when Leah Penna started with just a few centers! We now have over 400 centers, and help over 30,000 children each day in the state of Texas to receive the nutrition they need!
