In 2008, FP began a program for daycare centers called "Daycare Daze". This is a field trip program for the centers on our contract. It is a time where daycare centers come to FP Assistance's home office and have a carnival day for the kids. The teachers and cooks get to have the day off from lunch as our staff cooks a food program meal followed by a time of recreation for the kids and relaxation for the staff. It is also a great time for nutritional training related to food program guidelines, and a time for daycare staff to meet FPA staff.  We emphasize the "Three E's" of Education, Exercise and Eating Right.  We teach the children how to "Eat Smart and Play Hard"  We focus on reminding children to eat "Smart Snacks" and remember to make good food choices.
